House rules

Here you will find a detailed description of all the rules of conduct. Please read them carefully. By making a reservation, you declare your acceptance of these rules.

Arrival and room check-in

  • Check-in: From 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Please inform us in advance of any arrival times outside of these hours. Upon arrival, please check in at the reception.

  • Submission of Identification Documents: In compliance with the decree of January 7, 2013, our accommodation facility is obliged to register all guests upon arrival. The law (Art. 109 R.D. 18.06.1931 n. 773) stipulates that all guests (including minors) must present a valid identity document or passport upon arrival to prove their identity. The room keys will be handed over afterwards. In case of refusal by the guest, it will unfortunately be impossible to offer accommodation. Data processing is carried out in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and subsequent national adaptation laws.

  • Occupancy: Each accommodation unit may only be occupied by the number of people specified for that particular unit (unless an extra bed is requested). The management reserves the right to deny access to the accommodation if this condition is not met.

  • Assignment: The choice and designation of the room, within the booked type and category, is at the sole discretion of the Hotel management, unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing. Binding reservations for higher category rooms will incur an additional charge per person per day, which will be duly communicated to the guest when requesting a quote.

  • Reporting Damage: Please report any damage, faults, or malfunctions found upon entering your room immediately to the management. Damage found subsequently will instead be charged to you as the next guest.

Staff access to occupied rooms

  • All rooms are cleaned once a day, and of course, with every change of guest. During your stay, the room is at your complete disposal at any time, with the exception of 30 minutes daily dedicated to cleaning, which will take place between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

  • If you do not wish for your room to be cleaned within the indicated time frame, you can decline the daily service. Simply display the appropriate "Do not disturb"-sign on the outside of your door. In this case, the cleaning of the premises will take place the following day.

  • Should it become necessary for hotel staff to access an occupied room for maintenance or other reasons (in addition to normal cleaning), or in the event of significant changes to cleaning and service times, you will be informed promptly.

Use of rooms

  • You will find everything you need in your room: blankets, pillows, towels, personal hygiene products, etc. If anything is insufficient, please do not hesitate to contact reception.

  • Items found in the rooms, bathrooms, or other interior spaces of the hotel may not be taken outside.

  • For public safety reasons, unregistered persons are not allowed to enter the accommodations at any time. Therefore, visits or private or business meetings are permitted exclusively in the common areas of the hotel, at the bar, and in the lobby. Visits by family or friends must also be authorized by management. The presence of guests' visitors within the property must be communicated in advance and approved by management.

  • It is strictly forbidden to allow people who have not been registered by authorized staff to stay overnight in the room.

Valuables and liability

  • Please never leave your valuables or other personal belongings unattended. Carefully store personal valuables in the safes with customizable codes located in your room. Each room is equipped with one. Instructions for programming the code can be found next to the safe. If you encounter any difficulties, please do not hesitate to contact reception: our staff will be happy to assist you.

  • Please always lock both the door and the windows when leaving your room to prevent any theft of valuables.

  • The loss of items must always be reported to reception. Please hand in any found items here as well.

  • Despite the utmost care, losses or damages may occur. The hotel assumes no liability for the loss of objects or valuables, nor for damages resulting from force majeure (weather events, natural disasters, epidemics, illnesses, falling trees or branches or products belonging to the nature of plants, gusts of wind, damage to or theft of cars in the parking area and on the property).

  • Unfortunately, upon departure, we will not be able to grant you any discount to cover any actual or perceived inconveniences that may occur due to the events described above. We therefore advise you to take out adequate insurance.

Quiet hours and night rest

  • Night Quiet Hours: Starting from 11PM. Please respect these hours and keep the volume of radios and televisions low in your room.

  • Please avoid, at any time, activities, games, and the use of appliances inside the building that could disturb other guests. Behave quietly in the corridors, stairwells, and common areas as well. Please close doors quietly at any time of the day and night so as not to disturb others. Avoid speaking loudly, shouting, and slamming doors or windows.

  • The use of radios at high volume and other items that could acoustically disturb other guests is not permitted. Please use headphones to listen to music in the common areas.

  • Wellness Area: Especially in the spa area, guests wish to indulge in silence and tranquility. We therefore ask you to avoid making noise in this area.

  • Events organized by the hotel are excluded from these rules.

Meals and hygiene

  • Breakfast is served in the breakfast room or on the terrace, weather permitting and if expressly arranged by management.

  • Food and drinks intended for breakfast or dinner may not be taken to places other than the designated dining areas (in the room or outside the property). Snacks, etc., are of course excluded.

  • It is not permitted to bring food or prepared meals (pizza, delicatessen, etc.) not provided by the hotel into the property. Snacks, etc., are of course excluded.

  • Staying in the restaurant and bar is only permitted during opening hours. Please respect the indicated opening hours for the use of the facilities (restaurant, bar, reception). Unused services will not be refunded or compensated, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

  • It is strictly forbidden to prepare meals in the rooms.

Fire prevention and safety

  • As our guests, you are required to be aware of the fire safety regulations, equipment, and procedures to follow in the event of a fire. We kindly ask you to inform yourselves accordingly.

  • It is forbidden to connect electrical equipment not provided by the hotel to the power grid and to use hair dryers, hair diffusers, electric hot plates, washing machines, ironing equipment, heating devices, etc. Electric razors (in bathroom sockets) and chargers for mobile phones, laptops, tablets, and PCs are permitted – that is, all batteries that comply with EEC standards and are equipped with a suitable transformer.

  • Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee knowledge of the technical specifications of your electronic devices, nor their use and settings.

  • Throughout the entire property, including the rooms, the use of open flame devices of any kind (candles, stoves, hot plates, ovens, lamps, etc.) is prohibited. Smoking is strictly forbidden in all indoor areas of the property, and in particular in the rooms, corridors, communal bathrooms, the lobby, and the wellness area.

Pets

At Lago della creta, pets are welcome. In addition to local laws and regulations, please observe the following rules:

  • Please inform the hotel at the time of booking if your pet will accompany you. A supplement of €20.00 per pet per night will be applied (overnight stay only).

  • A maximum of two small or medium-sized pets are allowed in each room.

  • The owner must be adequately equipped for the well-being of their animal and also for that of other guests, bringing everything necessary such as a bed, food, leash, and muzzle. Your pets remain under your supervision and responsibility throughout your stay.

  • Outside your room, your four-legged friend must be kept on a leash or transported in a carrier.

  • We strongly ask you not to allow the animal on the bed or furniture.

  • We strongly ask you not to use the provided bathroom linen to clean and dry the animal (if the owner is not equipped, they can contact reception).

  • By law: In common areas (including the garden), animals must be kept on a leash. Dogs must wear a muzzle on public transport. However, your dog is welcome to travel on our shuttle to Plan de Corones during the winter.

  • For the well-being of the animal, our housekeeping will not clean the room if the pet is left unattended in the room. Please contact reception to arrange a suitable time for room cleaning or to schedule an alternative time.

  • We strongly ask you to leave your furry friend alone only for short periods, for example during wellness or meal times, but not to lock them in the room all day.

  • Animals are allowed in all areas except the wellness area. Their presence is possible in the restaurant. If an animal should cause problems in the dining room, you will have to take it outside.

  • We rely on your cooperation to prevent your pet from causing excessive noise or becoming aggressive or dangerous. In such cases, the hotel management may, at its sole discretion, request that you seek alternative accommodation. In extreme cases, our management reserves the right to contact the animal rescue service to have the animal removed.

  • If your room requires additional cleaning or if items or furniture are damaged due to the presence of your animal, a surcharge will be applied for the final cleaning or for the damage caused.

Minors

  • Adults are responsible for the behavior of the minors entrusted to their care. Please keep your children under supervision at all times. For safety reasons, children are not allowed to move around unaccompanied in the various areas of the hotel (indoors and outdoors).

  • The management declines all responsibility for any accidents involving minors within the property or its grounds, who must be accompanied by their parents and/or legal guardians.

Environment

  • Water is a precious resource: during their stay, guests are asked to respect the natural environment and use water and electricity consciously: avoid leaving taps running and lights or the television on when not necessary. Please try to avoid any form of waste and use water only for necessary purposes (personal hygiene, drinking, washing...).

  • Waste must be collected in the appropriate bags inside the bins located in the rooms and bathrooms. Do not throw waste in the common areas and please try to correctly separate your waste. If in doubt, please ask for information at the hotel reception.

  • Bathroom/WC: Do not throw substances or materials other than those intended down the drain. Do not obstruct the toilet with diapers, sanitary napkins, paper, or other bulky material. Please use the appropriate containers. Costs for any cleaning in case of obstruction will be charged to the customer.

  • Please respect the vegetation and soil as well as the hygiene and cleanliness of the hotel. It is not permitted to damage plants and flowers.

Doctor and illnesses

  • Any infectious disease must be reported to the management immediately.

  • The telephone numbers for the on-call doctor and emergency services are available at reception.

Respectful behavior

  • Appropriate attire is required within the hotel, respecting the sensitivity and modesty of others.

  • Access to areas reserved for hotel staff is not permitted.

  • Bringing sticks or other objects that could be considered weapons is not permitted.

Damage caused by inappropriate behavior

  • As our guests, you are required to respect the premises and the items contained therein. Any damage intentionally caused to the building or furnishings, as well as damage due to negligence or carelessness, will be charged.

  • Theft and intentional damage will be reported immediately.

  • Upon departure, the property staff will conduct a room check, and the costs for replacing any damage or for the loss of keys will be appropriately assessed and calculated by the property owners and must be paid at check-out.
